Attention all those who have ever said, "There should be an all-encompassing book about the 1986 Mets". (You know who you are.) Jeff Pearlman of Newsday has a "soon-to-be-released" book on the season, team, scandals, etc.
Newsday has been printing excerpts - I think this has been going on for a while, but I just saw it for the first time today. Looks like it'll be pretty thorough. I'm not going to read the excerpts, though, I'll just wait for the book. Which brings an idea to mind - 10 best Mets books ever.
